04 Ways to Deliver Immersive Experiences with Technology – The Complete Guide Comments Off on 04 Ways to Deliver Immersive Experiences with Technology – The Complete Guide 1873

Have you heard of immersive experiences? The term might sound a little futuristic, but we promise it’s something you, as a retailer, will want to know about and will probably want to bring into your business.

What are immersive experiences, and why do they matter?

Imagine being able to offer your customers a shopping experience that goes beyond the ordinary. An experience that not only grabs their attention but is so unique and engaging that it inspires them to come back and share it with their friends.

That’s exactly what immersive experiences can do for your business. They have the power to turn a simple store visit into a memorable adventure.

In real estate, for example, immersive experiences are revolutionizing the way properties are presented and sold. With the right technology, prospective buyers can “visit” multiple properties without going anywhere, saving time and resources.

See how powerful immersive experiences can be? They’re not just a passing trend; they’re a natural evolution of the way we interact with the world and do business.

So if you’re looking for innovative ways to boost your sales and delight your customers, don’t overlook the power of immersive experiences.

Let’s explore 4 ways to use Immersive Experiences with different technologies to promote your business:

1 – Projection Mapping in Immersive Rooms

One way is through projection mapping in immersive rooms. Let’s take a closer look.

Projection mapping, also known as video mapping, is a technology that can turn virtually any surface, no matter how irregular, into a dynamic video display.

This is done using specialized software that adjusts the projected image to fit the shape and texture of the surface perfectly. Amazing, right?

So how does Projection Mapping increase immersion?

Well, picture this: as you walk into a room with projection mapping, you’re suddenly transported to a completely transformed environment.

The room can morph into a forest, a futuristic city, or the bottom of the ocean. The only limit is your imagination! This level of transformation is impossible to achieve with traditional décor or even flat screens.

Projection mapping engages viewers on an emotional level, giving them the feeling of being transported to entirely different places. It’s like traveling without ever leaving the room.

What’s more, projection mapping isn’t just about physically transforming a space. It’s also a powerful tool for telling your brand’s story through storytelling.

You can project videos or images that tell your company’s story, highlight its values, or even showcase your products in an innovative and exciting way. This kind of immersive narrative builds a deeper connection between your customers and your brand, creating a lasting impact.

Success stories of Projection Mapping in Immersive Rooms

In the fashion industry, for example, major brands have been using projection mapping at runway shows to create stunning sets.

In the events industry, projection mapping has been used to transform conference rooms into engaging, inspiring environments.

Check out below our Immersive Room storytelling case that we built for Museu Ipiranga (for real estate developer Gafisa).

For the Ipiranga neighborhood in São Paulo, we created the feeling of having a museum to visit, building a high-tech, interactive museum inside the Square Ipiranga sales stand. It told the story of the neighborhood, its iconic residents, and the history of the city, culminating in the launch of the development that takes up an entire block on Avenida Nazaré. The result? 100% of the development sold in 3 months.

2 – Sensory Experiences in Immersive Rooms

Now that you know how incredibly well Projection Mapping can transport visitors somewhere else, let’s take it a step further. How about adding other senses to the journey? That’s where Sensory Rooms come in.

But what are Sensory Rooms?

Basically, they’re spaces designed to stimulate all of the audience’s senses. Beyond beautiful visuals, they can incorporate sounds, scents, and even tactile sensations to create a truly engaging experience.

The idea is to deliver a complete sensory experience and, in doing so, deepen the visitor’s immersion in the environment you’ve created. The potential for your business is huge. After all, how many places do you know that can offer an experience like that?

Benefits of using Sensory Rooms.

And the benefits of using Sensory Rooms go beyond the wow factor.

A customer immersed in a well-designed environment connects more with what you’re trying to communicate. That creates a lasting memory and drives loyalty.

Not to mention all the social media sharing that such an original space can generate!

Success stories using Sensory and Immersive Rooms.

There are plenty of success stories using Sensory Rooms. In the wine industry, for example, some wineries have been using sensory rooms to give visitors a complete experience. There, you can smell the earth, hear the sounds of the vineyard, and, of course, taste the wines. All in an environment that recreates the climate of the region where the wine is produced.

Here at Alice Wonders, we’ve picked out this video from our Sensory Immersive Room for Dior case.

For a captivating, multisensory immersion in the Dior space at Hotel Sephora, Alice Wonders developed projection mapping that brought to life the launch of J’adore Eau de Parfum, the brand’s newest fragrance. The Instagrammable space gained buzz and organic posts on the social media of celebrities such as Carolina Dieckmann, Preta Gil, Livia Aragão (and more!).

3 – Interactive Screens in Immersive Rooms

Moving further along our immersive journey, we come to Interactive Screens in immersive rooms. These tools are more than just a visual addition; they’re a form of communication, a bridge between you and your customer.

You may be wondering: what’s the point of Interactive Screens?

They let your visitors interact directly with the content in your immersive room. Not just looking, but also touching, moving, playing… The possibilities are endless!

Interactive Screens turn a passive experience into an active adventure, giving visitors the feeling that they’re part of what’s happening.

How Interactive and Immersive Screens can benefit your business.

Interactive Screens aren’t just a fun feature. They’re powerful tools for boosting customer engagement.

Interactivity keeps visitors in your immersive room longer, exploring the content and deepening their bond with your brand.

It also offers a unique opportunity to collect data on your customers’ preferences and tailor your offerings accordingly.

Success Stories with Interactive Screen Technology in Immersive Rooms.

But does it really work? The answer is yes! There are plenty of success stories with Interactive Screens.

One example is Coca-Cola’s “Touch the Music” campaign, where visitors could create their own music by interacting with a screen. Another is Nike’s pop-up store in New York, where customers could customize their sneakers on an interactive screen.

Below is a look at the interactive space we built for Vitacon, where we created a stock exchange trading desk to present their new business model: selling apartments through investment shares.

4 – 4D Environments and Immersive Rooms

Finally, we’ve reached the peak of the immersive experience: 4D Environments.

But what exactly are 4D Environments? Let’s think beyond traditional 3D — height, width, and depth. The fourth dimension here is time, and more specifically, the way we experience time through our senses.

In a 4D environment, we don’t just see and touch — we also smell scents and feel temperatures, all synchronized to create a completely holistic experience.

4D Environments have a profound impact on the customer experience. They take immersion to a whole new level, engaging every sense and creating intense sensory memories.

And since the human brain more easily remembers experiences that involve multiple senses, 4D Environments also help boost customer retention and loyalty.

Success Stories Using 4D Environment Technologies in Immersive Rooms.

Here’s our 4D Immersive Model Apartment case, which we created for MPD.

👉🏻 A 4D immersive presentation with wind, scent, and sound, where customers customize colors, styles, and even furniture for a virtual tour of the apartment.

👉🏻 The immersive room proved to be a valuable source of data and insights for the developer. With the 4D Model Apartment, MPD found that 75% of customers had a modern profile, compared to 25% with a classic profile. With that, the developer was able to restructure its marketing and business strategies.

Conclusion

Customers are always looking for something new, and they want more than just products or services — they’re looking for memorable experiences. That’s where immersive rooms stand out as a powerful tool for meeting those expectations.

Projection Mapping, Sensory Rooms, Interactive Screens, and 4D Environments are just a few of the ways you can use technology to completely transform your store or event space, engage your customers, and give them a truly unique and memorable experience.

So, are you ready to innovate, win over customers, build loyalty, and sell more with innovative, personalized physical experiences?

We at Alice Wonders are here to help you make it happen. Let’s create amazing experiences together that will leave your customers delighted and eager to buy and come back!

Spaces That Bring People Closer: How Itaú Bank Turns Relationships into Experiences Comments Off on Spaces That Bring People Closer: How Itaú Bank Turns Relationships into Experiences 991

Banco Itaú Uniclass com fachada azul e ambiente de atendimento integrado à experiência digital

Imagine walking into a bank and, instead of running into queue tickets, documents being shuffled back and forth, and contracts thousands of pages long, being able to check what you need and discover new features with just a few clicks.

What sounds a bit futuristic has now come to life! We’re talking about Alice Wonders’ newest case, this time with Itaú bank, which trusted our team to deliver activations and projects that completely changed its customers’ experience.

Today, we’ll walk you through everything that went into this very special project and show, in practice, how immersion can transform any space and make an impact in any business sector.

Enjoy the read!

Itaú Bank and Alice Wonders: a partnership that brings together experience and technology

Alice Wonders’ goal with Itaú bank went far beyond simply making things easier for customers: it was to let consumers, through these experiences, see the future and plan their dreams without limits, envisioning what could become reality in their lives.

Edson Cantelli, from Alice Wonders’ Content team, and Angela Benassi, from the Projects team, talked a bit about what it was like to plan these experiences for the Itaú team in a case that’s already available on our social media. Click here to check it out!

To help you better understand each of the activations developed for this project, we’ve laid out the details below. Take a look:

Espaço Itaú Uniclass

Espaço Itaú Uniclass was an evolution of the bank’s traditional physical space into an experiential environment. The concept combines architecture, technology, and personalized service to bring customers closer to the brand and strengthen the relationship. The core idea is to show how Itaú’s physical presence can become a more interactive and relevant experience for customers.

We took a tour of the space’s overall concept and of the branch’s transformation into a tech-driven, personalized brand experience. Click here to watch an exclusive video about this activation.

Dream Capsule

The Dream Capsule, in turn, is an immersive experience that connects technology and emotion. The goal is to encourage customers to think about their desires and aspirations and, from there, turn those desires into concrete possibilities.

The interaction works like a journey: the choices participants make shape the paths they take, so the dream stops being just an abstract idea and starts gaining momentum and direction. Click here to watch the full video about the Dream Capsule.

Jornada Decolar

Jornada Decolar uses the world of travel as a metaphor to bring customers closer to their next goals. The experience is built on the idea that there’s a difference between imagining a destination and starting to make it happen. Through the interaction, customers are invited to move beyond intention and take the first steps toward a trip or a personal project.

Itaú appears as a brand that offers benefits and tools to help customers turn that desire into a concrete possibility. Click here to see how this idea came to life!

Itaú Shop

Last, but far from least, there’s the Itaú Shop experience, which kicks off with a scratch-card mechanic designed to spark curiosity and create an instant sense of surprise. The experience then connects to Itaú Shop, the shopping space available in the bank’s app.

The idea is to create a journey that connects brand + product + benefit + physical experience, helping customers see more value in the benefits the bank offers. Click here to see how it turned out!

Alice Wonders & Itaú bank: connecting technology, space, and experience

This intersection of experience, technology, and strategy is exactly where Alice Wonders operates. More than creating visually striking spaces, we develop experiences that bring brands and people closer together, turning physical environments into relevant, interactive, and memorable touchpoints.

For brands that want to go beyond digital and build connections in the physical world as well, Alice Wonders is a strategic partner for turning technology into experience and spaces into real relationship-building opportunities.

Magic Floor Case Study, Galeria Laguna & Alice Wonders: When Technology Meets Purpose Comments Off on Magic Floor Case Study, Galeria Laguna & Alice Wonders: When Technology Meets Purpose 273

Magic Floor desenvolvido pela Alice Wonders para o Grupo Laguna, permitindo que visitantes explorem um apartamento em escala real por meio de uma experiência imersiva e interativa.

Have you ever imagined walking into an empty space that will soon be complete? It may sound crazy, but it’s simply Magic Floor, an immersive technology that lets you show people a variety of environments without them ever having to leave the spot.

In many retail sectors, especially real estate, professionals face a genuine pain point: finding an alternative to the traditional model apartment that still gives customers the feeling of being inside the property.

Finding physical spaces that can accommodate the construction of a model unit while still allowing customers to move comfortably through it is often hard to come by, and hard to fit into the budget.

Now, have you ever imagined using just one room to present an entire model unit to your customer? Well, that’s exactly what Galeria Laguna did in partnership with Alice Wonders, and that’s what we’re going to show you in today’s post.

The challenges behind the project

Galeria Laguna is a real estate business group, best known for its high-end developments in Curitiba. The group’s purpose is to make cities more beautiful and better places to live, investing in signature architecture, innovation, sustainability, and quality of life.

For this project’s presentation, the group’s goal was not just to present the floor plan of the new apartment, but to get visitors to imagine their own lives in that space. Among the challenges that came up along the way were:

  • Moving away from a cold, technical presentation: the idea was to talk about the property while bringing the customer closer, allowing them to picture themselves living there;
  • Everything had to represent the real apartment exactly: every millimeter of the model unit’s measurements had to match the original floor plan;
  • The sustainable positioning had to be respected: it made no sense for a company that values sustainability to build yet another physical model unit that would generate more costs and more waste.

And, of course, overcoming these challenges wouldn’t be possible by sticking to the same old approach. That’s why, instead of building a physical apartment, a Magic Floor was created in the form of a life-size rendered floor plan, allowing visitors to walk through every room as if they were in the property.

Meet the Magic Floor developed for Galeria Laguna

Alice Wonders, in partnership with Galeria Laguna, developed a Magic Floor for this extra-special project. It’s an interactive floor that combines projectors, motion sensors, and software to turn the ground into a responsive digital surface.

When a person steps on or moves their feet over the projection, the system detects the movements in real time and makes the projected elements react to the interaction.

Click here to watch the full case video!

Far beyond financial results, the Magic Floor allowed the company to deliver an innovative and accessible experience to its potential customers. “Imagine the joy of a wheelchair user moving across a floor plan, knowing that this particular space was designed specifically for them.” said one of the Group’s representatives.

The AW team developed a Magic Floor that mapped the entire available space at a 1:1 scale, ensuring complete fidelity to the development’s dimensions, and delivered much more than an immersive experience: a moment of connection between customer and brand, and between customer and product.

“The customer needs to connect with the space.” and “To be memorable, we had to touch people emotionally.” These were some of the statements shared by the group’s team, and they only reinforce that selling takes much more than good strategies alone; it also takes the right partners to help build an immersive, emotional, and human space.

How to develop a Magic Floor project with Alice Wonders

Magic Floor is just one of the solutions offered by Alice Wonders that can transform the consumer experience in retail and support projects that bring together technology, data, and personalization. According to the brand’s own representatives, the project stands for:

  • Connection: because customers start to see themselves living in that space.
  • Performance: because the experience was designed to increase sales potential.
  • Disruption: because it replaces a traditional real estate model with an immersive, sustainable, and innovative solution.
